LAPC began in 1988 at a store front building under the leadership of Pastor J.D. Teeples. Believing and trusting God, that the effort would result in an assembly of people loving the Lord and each other as family, was at the center of this work.  After the home going of Elder Teeples in 2003, his son Chris Teeples accepted the call to become the pastor and today is leading the church into the future.
